Professional Use:
1. Cleanse the skin thoroughly with Medicalia’s Gentle Cleanser and Gentle Toner. Blot dry.
2. Cover eyes with small eye pads moist with cool water. Pads should completely adhere to eyelids.
3. Soak a textured gauze pad with a small quantity of Medicalia’s Peel Prep Solution and rub vigorously on the skin, concentrating on areas of concern for a preparatory micro-abrasion and to enhance the surface exposure of the peel. Do not rinse the skin.
4. Pour one teaspoon (5ml) Zinc & Peptides Peel in a cup.
5. Using a cotton tip applicator, apply a thin layer evenly over face with medium pressure, especially on areas of concern. Lastly, apply on neck area if needed. Allow product to stay on skin for 3 – 15min (shorter time frame for 1st time application is recommended depending on skin type, condition, and tolerance). You may need to fan the treated areas if the patient experiences tingling or stinging sensations. Monitor peel progress on the skin continuously. If deep erythema or frosting (blanching) develops, or if the patient feels too uncomfortable with the peel, rinse treated areas with cold or icy water and immediately follow with Neutralizing Gel.
6. When the peel’s time is up, rinse it off thoroughly using pads soaked in cold water.
7. Apply Neutralizing Gel all over treated skin. Using damp fingertips with cold water, work the gel gently all over the skin. Wait 2 minutes and then rinse the Neutralizing Gel thoroughly with cold water. Blot dry.
8. For best results and to speed up the peeling process, do not apply a moisturizer.
