Professional Product Overview
Medicalia Phytic Acid and Acto-Zyme Peel combines acids and an enzyme exfoliant to help refine rough texture, dullness and uneven-looking tone in professionally assessed oily or acne-prone skin. This promotion pairs the 120 ml peel with a free 120 ml Neutralizing Gel, required for the neutralisation stage.
Products Included
Both products are for trained professional use only. Peel Prep Solution and other treatment supplies are separate requirements; they are not included in this two-product promotion.
When to Recommend
Select for suitable oily or acne-prone skin with surface buildup, rough texture, dullness, uneven tone or visible fine lines. The supplier lists all Glogau classifications as assessment references; this does not mean every client is suitable.
Do not use on sensitive, irritated, infected, broken or presently peeling skin, or on children under 16. Consultation must consider medicines, recent procedures, sun exposure and allergies before selection.
Professional Benefits
- Helps smooth rough surface texture.
- Supports a brighter, more even-looking complexion.
- Combines acid and enzyme exfoliation for assessed skin concerns.
- Includes the required Neutralizing Gel for the documented removal sequence.
How the Product Works
The peel combines phytic, lactic and glycolic acids with the enzyme ingredient Mucor Miehei Extract (Acto-Zyme) to support surface exfoliation. Glycerin and Sea Whip Extract contribute skin-conditioning support. The separate Neutralizing Gel contains sodium bicarbonate and is used after thorough cold-water peel removal. It is not mixed into the peel.
Professional Application
Use the peel as the resurfacing stage in the Medicalia Phytic Acid & Acto-Zyme Peel Treatment. Have the included Neutralizing Gel and separately sourced Peel Prep Solution ready. Usage summarises the essential method; the BCP Step-by-Step Professional Application Guide (PDF) provides screening, preparation and aftercare detail.
Key Ingredients
Phytic Acid and Acto-Zyme Peel: Phytic, lactic and glycolic acids provide exfoliation; Mucor Miehei Extract supplies the enzyme component; glycerin and Sea Whip Extract support skin conditioning.
Neutralizing Gel: Sodium bicarbonate provides the neutralising action; glycerin contributes moisture-binding support.

Professional Use in Treatment
For trained professionals only, following consultation and current training. Do not use on sensitive, compromised, presently peeling or laser-treated skin, or under 16s. Cleanse with Gentle Cleanser and Gentle Toner; blot dry. Protect eyes with cool damp pads, protect nostril openings and delicate lip areas with Gentle Cream, and stay at least 1/2 inch from the eyes. With gloves, rub a small amount of Peel Prep Solution over assessed skin using textured gauze; do not rinse.
Decant 5 ml (one teaspoon). Apply a thin, even layer to the face with a cotton-tip applicator and medium pressure; do not overlap. Start at up to 1 minute initially. Increase by 1-2 minutes over successive treatments according to tolerance, to a maximum of 10 minutes. Monitor continuously; never leave the client unattended. Stop early for deep redness, frosting/blanching, burning or intolerable discomfort.
Remove thoroughly with cold-water-soaked pads, then immediately apply the included Neutralizing Gel. Work gently with cold-water-damp fingertips, wait 2 minutes, rinse thoroughly with cold water and blot dry. Do not routinely apply moisturiser immediately afterward. Use as a standalone peel, without a facial, steamer, high-frequency or galvanic stage; no waxing before or after and allow at least 4 hours after shaving. Do not exceed one application per week; allow longer recovery where needed.
Give written aftercare: avoid makeup for 24 hours, sun exposure and acids/exfoliants while sensitive; following-day cleansing uses Gentle Cleanser. Agree sunscreen and any special-case Post-Operative Cream timing with the treating practitioner. Prescription changes require prescriber input. See the BCP Step-by-Step Professional Application Guide (PDF) for complete screening and aftercare.
What is included in this promotion?
One 120 ml Phytic Acid and Acto-Zyme Peel and one free 120 ml Neutralizing Gel. Peel Prep Solution and other treatment supplies are separate requirements.
Who is this peel intended for?
Trained professionals assessing oily or acne-prone skin with rough texture, dullness or uneven tone. Suitability depends on consultation, skin condition and treatment history.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin or home use?
No. The product-specific guidance excludes sensitive skin, and both products in this promotion are for professional use only.
Can Neutralizing Gel replace cold-water removal?
No. Remove the peel thoroughly with cold-water-soaked pads before applying the gel. Follow Usage and the application guide for the complete sequence.
Can I combine it with another facial or device stage?
Use it as a standalone peel. Do not add a facial, steamer, high-frequency or galvanic stage.
How should treatment intensity be chosen?
Assess tolerance and recovery at each session. Follow the progressive limits in Usage rather than treating the maximum exposure as a target.
